Contemporary brick tile pays respect to the original chimney

Transition from the original wood to new hex tile

The design incorporated new skylights to bring natural light into the previously dark space to illuminate work surfaces and bring richness to the materials within. Locally made tile was installed as a contemporary homage to the existing brick chimney. FSC certified recycled paper Richlite countertops were custom made to coordinate with the color palette of the finishes. Fully custom sapele hardwood cabinets create continuous smooth lines throughout. We put emphasis on well-crafted and thoughtful clean details in this amazing kitchen and this baker’s kitchen dreams came true!
