This small home in Midtown is an alley infill at the back of an existing home. The design is organized by alternating roof planes that respond to the scale of existing buildings on the alley and break down the building’s length. Interior vaults create an interesting play of volume and delineate the open floor plan.
An exterior composition of stucco, tropical hardwood, white concrete, and steel creates a contemporary yet timeless and inviting exterior that responds to the context of the existing historic neighborhood.
